Tami Ryan [PA] has accepted appointment as the Charter Breeder chairman for the ANDRC. Over the next couple of months, she will be addressing the backlog of certificates that need to be awarded, in the order of the year earned.
Dick Gehr, our Sweepstakes chairman, is assisting greatly in the process of identifying those who have earned the status of Charter Breeder and will be providing Tami with the lists of awardees. Please give Tami the time needed for dealing with the backlog.
For those who are new to the concept of Charter Breeder, it is an achievement earned by ANDRC members. The guidelines for the program are listed in the 2008 Guidebook on page 134.
Questions concerning whether one qualifies for Charter Breeder status should be sent to Mr. Gehr at rwgehr@cbcast.com, not Tami, as he is the one with the master list of BOB/BOSB (Quality Points) earned each year.
Our goal is to have the names of the 2007, 2008 and 2009 new Charter Breeders in the next 'Dwarf Digest'. We will be updating the historic list of all Charter Breeder recipients on our website after the 2009 numbers are awarded.
