CONVENTION NEWS...
Hello to everyone! I had a great time at the Convention and I enjoyed seeing all of you. Our booth was a big success. Thank you to Gary Brachman for donating 2 very nice pairs of rabbits to raffle for the youth fund. Convention is always very hectic even when you don't bring rabbits. I found that out. I want to thank the Briggs for helping me get the booth set up and to my good friend youth member Kyle Morgan. He manned the booth as much or more than I did! Thanks to Summer, Ben and Caleb too! We raised a bunch of money. I deposited $700 in the Youth Fund Account.

The clean cage awards were given by Diana Swihart. Lindsey Handshumacher won the overall award. The winners for the Youth Photography Contest were: Treylan Swain for the Cutest and Best Pose, April Hostetler for the Best group Shot and Mystina Swain for the best Scenery and best in Show. She won a very nice Digital Photoframe.

Before you know it will be time to head to Illinois for the Nationals. We will again have a themed party. This year will be a Fiesta. I am not sure of the location of the party yet but the information will be posted on the website along with the other activities to be held in Illinois. Every year we have a costume contest at our party. Awards will be given for Best Costumed Youth, Best Costumed Dwarf and the Best costume for Duo. It is a lot of fun. Perhaps you could dress up like the Little House on the Prairie or in a Mexican Sombrero. Use your imagination I hope you will try the Royalty Contest if you are coming this year. Please look for the application in this issue. I also will be having a booth for the Youth and raffle table. I need helpers! Don't forget to bring an item to donate for the Youth Fund. Keep those water bowls thawed! See you in Springfield, Illinois, April 18.
