SILENT AUCTION

These delightful and interesting items donated by our Members supply the funding for complimentary Awards Banquet tickets for our ANDRC Youth Members.

Silent Auction items and bid sheets are located in the ANDRC Booth with the Auction ending on Tuesday afternoon — except for a few select items which will continue on to the Awards Banquet where bidding becomes both entertaining and competitive.

Affiliated Club and Regional Members often combine their donations into carriers, baskets or groupings of goodies and treasures representative of their state(s).

Whether donating, bidding or both, please plan on being a part of this fund-raising effort in support of our Youth Members.

FROSTY VARIETY PRESENTATION

The "new-to-our-breed" Frosty variety is eligible for the First Showing of its First Presentation to the ARBA Standards Committee at this year's Convention.

This process at the Convention starts with the presentation animals being evaluated by our ANDRC Standards Committee.  If accepted and passed by this group of judges and breeders, the variety goes on to be evaluated by the ARBA Standards Committee on Tuesday.

The Frosty variety can be viewed in the Exhibition area of the showroom, along with other new breeds or varieties holding a current Certificate of Development with the ARBA.

All breeders working on the Frosty variety are encouraged to support the variety by entering some their Frosty Dwarfs in the Convention's Exhibition Only Show.  Open and Youth animals all show together in these classes with the judging time to be announced at the Convention — most often taking place on Tuesday.

ANDRC MEMBERSHIP MEETING

The Convention host club schedules an hour and a half time period for each National breed club to have use of a designated meeting room adjacent to the showroom.

The meetings are scheduled over multiple days to avoid conflicts with  breeds being shown, Best in Show ceremonies and showroom hours.

Once the Convention catalog is published, the date, time and room location of our meeting will become available and added to this page.

This is your club and your meeting.  Members are encouraged to attend.

RABBIT AUCTION

The Netherland Dwarf Rabbit Auction is a long-standing tradition operated by the ANDRC Auction Committee.

Each year's Convention Auction raises funds to cover ANDRC Convention expenses and should there be a need, picks up any slack that may occur between the Silent Auction proceeds and the Youth Member's Banquet tickets, the Awards Sponsors donations and the final cost of our breed awards, and any ticket sales shortfall relative to the total final Banquet expenses.  Remaining proceeds go into the club's general fund.

Convention Auction consignors receive 60% of the total sales for each consignment with the remaining 40% going to the ANDRC. The Auction Committee will start accepting consignments 30 days prior to Convention and may accept up to 25 Lots.

The starting bid for each Lot will be $100.00. Bidders need not be present to participate — an absentee bidding process is available. Buyers will have 30 minutes prior to the Auction start time to inspect and assess the Auction rabbits.

The Auction Committee and/or Show Committee will determine the date and time for the Auction which will be posted in the showroom and on social media.

The Auction Committee maintains their own Facebook Group which becomes active approximately 30 days prior to the Convention.

AWARDS BANQUET

Takes place on Tuesday evening.

Location, time, menu and ticket information will be added as details become fully finalized.

Please consider joining us for an evening of fellowship and celebration.

"DWARF BUCKS" TRADITION

"Dwarf Bucks" are an enjoyable way of thanking and appreciating those who lend a helping hand on Show Day.

It truly takes a village to efficiently put our breed's large number of entries across the tables of multiple judges with the Open and Youth Shows running simultaneously.  Our many runners, ramrods, writers and clerks are the heroes of the day!

"Dwarf Bucks" are the only "currency" accepted for Special Auction Items during the Awards Banquet. Those holding "Dwarf Bucks" quickly pool their "funds" during bidding, then divvy up the goodies their bid has won. The bidding is great fun and highly competitive.

"Dwarf Bucks" still in hand after the Auctioned Items have been won can be "spent" on a variety of items available for "purchase".
